How To Set Up Storrito 2FA

Storrito can act as a two-factor authentication (2FA) code generator for your Instagram account. Once configured, Storrito automatically handles 2FA challenges during Instagram login, so you no longer need to manually enter codes or share them with colleagues.

There are two ways to set up 2FA in Storrito:

• Quick Setup — directly from the Instagram account modal
• 2FA Authenticators page — for managing all your authenticators in one place

Option A: Quick Setup from the Instagram Account Modal

1. Navigate to Instagram Accounts

Log into Storrito and click "Instagram Accounts" in the left sidebar.

2. Open the Account Details

Click on the Instagram account you want to configure 2FA for. A modal will open showing the account details. Under "Two-Factor Authentication", you will see a field to paste your TOTP secret key.

3. Paste the Secret Key and Save

Paste your 32-character TOTP secret key into the field and click "Save".

4. Confirm the Code in Instagram

After saving, Storrito immediately generates a 6-digit OTP code from the secret key. Go back to Instagram and enter this code to confirm that the authenticator is set up correctly. Once confirmed, Storrito will handle 2FA automatically from now on.

To find your TOTP secret key:

• Open the Meta Accounts Center from your Instagram account
• Select "Password and security"
• Tap "Two-factor authentication"
• Choose the Instagram account, then select "Authentication app"
• Instagram will display either a QR code or a 32-character secret key — paste this key into Storrito
• After saving in Storrito, enter the generated 6-digit code back into Instagram to confirm

Option B: 2FA Authenticators Page

1. Open the 2FA Authenticators Page

From the Instagram Accounts page, click the "2FA Authenticators" button in the top right corner. This page shows all your stored authenticators with live OTP codes.

2. Click Setup

Click the "Setup" button to add a new authenticator.

3. Fill in the Details

• Codename: A name to identify this authenticator (e.g. "Instagram")
• Secret Key: Paste the 32-character TOTP secret key from Instagram
• Description (optional): Add a note for your reference

Click "Save TOTP" to store the authenticator.

4. Confirm the Code in Instagram

After saving, Storrito generates a 6-digit OTP code from the secret key — you can see it on the 2FA Authenticators overview with a live countdown timer. Go back to Instagram and enter this code to confirm that the authenticator is set up correctly.

How It Works

Once saved, Storrito will:

• Generate 2FA codes automatically — visible on the 2FA Authenticators page with a live countdown
• Auto-solve 2FA during Instagram login — when reconnecting your account, Storrito enters the code for you
• Enable one-click reconnects — no need to manually enter codes when your session expires

Notes

• Storrito supports standard TOTP-based authenticators (the same format used by Google Authenticator and similar apps).
• This setup is especially useful for teams — no need to share 2FA codes between colleagues.
