Today: How do I create Instagram highlights, and why do I need them?

What exactly are Instagram highlights?

What makes Instagram stories special is that they disappear after 24 hours.

But sometimes you want to save your precious stories. Therefore, Instagram provides a feature called highlights, where you can easily pin your stories to your profile.

You can sort them into little folder-like groups, each with a title and a cover photo.

After creating these highlight folders, they will appear on your profile right under your bio.

Why are they so important?

Highlights are the first thing followers and potential followers will see when they visit your profile. Therefore, they are extremely valuable and act like a trailer for your Instagram feed.

Most Instagram stories contain professionally produced videos or photographs. Most brands and businesses invest a lot of time and money in creating their stories. So, naturally, they want to get the most out of them that they can. With Instagram highlights, stories can be saved so that future followers can view them at any time.

The highlights feature also allows you to show off your products or services in an organized way.
