Today: are there also Insights for Reels and Instagram Live?

Until now, businesses and users of Instagram have only received Insights, i.e. statistics, for their own Instagram Stories, feed posts and Instagram TV. However, a few days ago, Instagram announced that in the future there will also be Insights for Reels and Instagram Live.

The new detailed stats for Reels and Instagram Live complement the data already available for Feed posts, IGTV and Instagram Stories.

Where will the new Insights for Reels and Instagram Live be displayed?

This data will be added to the account's Insights overview, which can be found via the menu in the top right section of Instagram. This should give influencers and businesses a more detailed picture of how Reels and Live videos affect an Instagram account's performance over time. The "Reach" section is newly divided into followers and non-followers.

In addition to introducing new statistics, Instagram also announced that in the coming months, new options will be added to the existing and preset evaluation periods of 7 and 30 days.
