One of the most rewarding features you can use on Instagram is the Insights tab. With this statistics tool, you have the opportunity to get to know your audience and analyze the success of your content.
By introducing the Professional Dashboard, Instagram has brought its Insights feature to the next level for creators and businesses.
The Professional Dashboard not only offers statistics on the community and content but also tips for improving your content and further information. Therefore, it is divided into the three sections “Track Your Performance”, “Grow Your Business”, and “Stay informed”.
The Professional Dashboard is easier to find than the regular Insights tab. Now you only must go to your profile and tap on the banner at the top of your screen.
When you tap on “View Professional Dashboard” you can access the already mentioned sections.
The first thing you see in your Professional Dashboard is how many accounts you have reached in the last 30 days compared to the 30 days before.
When you click on “See All Insights” under the bar chart, you enter your familiar Insights Overview. You can still enter this section by tapping on the three lines in your profile.
In the second section, Instagram gathered all the tools that help you to “run your account more efficiently”.
Here you can find the four subcategories “Promotions”, “Branded Content Approvals”, Set Up Instagram Shopping”, and “Set Up Saved Replies”.
The third section “Stay Informed” gathers best practices and tips from the @instagram and the @instagramforbusiness teams.
Here you will find articles like “See How Other Businesses Connect With People” or “How to use Reels and drive results”.
Most of the features in the Professional Dashboard are already available on Instagram. But now they are all in one place and more accessible and structured more clearly.
In the future, Instagram wants to expand the provided tools to help creators and businesses be more successful on the photo-sharing platform.
