Today: How do you use Instagram Reels insights to produce better Reels?
Instagram has developed into a big social media player over the last few years. Nevertheless, the platform must always be aware that their leading position will not necessarily last forever.
The competition never sleeps, and because of rivals like TikTok, Instagram is constantly reinventing itself. One example is its latest innovation, called Reels.
Instagram put a lot of effort into promoting the new feature. It even re-structured the app to make Reels more easily accessible.
And these efforts were not for nothing. Reels are becoming more and more popular. Especially for brands and creators, Reels offer a lot of options to create unique content. And with the new Reels Insights, you can easily analyze the results of your efforts and improve your content.
If you want to check out the performance of your Reels, navigate to the Reels tab of your profile. At the bottom of each Reel, you will find the number of views it got.
When you open a particular Reel, Instagram provides you with the number of likes and comments it received. Tap the three dots in the right-hand corner at the bottom of your screen. Select “Insights” and here you can also see how many accounts you reached and how often your Reel was shared or saved.
If you want to get a bigger picture of how your Reels are doing, you can learn more in your Instagram Insights. You find them via your professional dashboard or the Insights button on your profile.
Once you have entered the Insights area, you can analyze the accounts you reached and the interactions you received.
If you want to perform better on Instagram, the proof of the pudding is often in the eating. This applies to Reels too.
If you want to improve your Reels game, try experimenting with different styles, lengths, and audio options, or with different timings for your postings.
While you are in the test phase, keep track of the results shown in your Reel insights. Maybe shorter Reels trigger more interactions, or you get better visibility by posting your content at a certain time.
With all these options, you can learn what your community likes and when they most likely will see your content. All of this helps you to get better at posting Reels.
