Links in Instagram Stories are handy for businesses and followers. For example, businesses can link to their products at their online store and followers can shop directly..
But not every account can use swipe-up links in Instagram Stories. As a prerequisite, the account must either have at least 10,000 followers, or be verified.
If one of the requirements is met, a link can be added in just a few steps:
1. Copy the link in your clipboard.
2. Create your story as usual.
3. Click the chain icon and then click "Web Link."
4. Paste your saved link and click the blue checkmark in the top right corner.
5. Publish your story as usual.
For all accounts that haven’t met one of the two requirements, there is another way to insert links. Create your normal stories, and then give your followers a hint that they can find your online store, for example, via the link in your bio.
To do this, simply tap on "Edit Profile" and add your store link under "Website." This way, followers have easy access to your online store.
