The questions we get asked most often about how Storrito credits work. For the full explanation of the pricing model, see How Storrito Credits And Pricing Work.
Overview
A prepaid credit system. You add credits to your wallet when you need them, 1 credit = 1 USD, and your usage is deducted from that balance. Nothing recurs unless you turn on Auto Top-Up, which adds your chosen amount automatically whenever the balance drops below $5, at most once per day.
If you subscribed before September 2026 you may still have a monthly or yearly top-up that renews as before; you can switch to pay-as-you-go on the Subscription page at any time, free of charge.
Credits can be used for any service on Storrito and are not just a posting allowance. Instagram posting is unlimited: you pay a flat daily rate of $0.50 for each connected Instagram account whether you post nothing that day or fifty times. TikTok posts cost $0.08 each and AI image generation costs $0.18 per image.
For example, if you subscribe for 19 credits per month with one Instagram account connected, your daily cost is $0.50 for the connection plus $0.10 for storage, so $0.60 per day or about $18.60 per 31 days, with unlimited Stories and Reels. So 19 credits allows you to post an unlimited amount to one Instagram account.
Posting doesn't cost extra on Storrito. You pay daily for both the Instagram connection ($0.50 per day). This means that credits continue to be deducted if your Instagram account is connected, including on days you don't post.
If you know you won't use Storrito for a while, disconnecting the account stops the daily connection fee.
Connecting and reconnecting your Instagram account is free. What you're seeing is the daily connection rate of $0.50, which is deducted every day your Instagram account is connected.
A negative balance means your usage slightly outran your prepaid wallet. It's offset with your next top-up, so there's no separate bill.
One thing to know: scheduling new posts needs available credits. If your balance has run out, add credits (or let Auto Top-Up handle it) before you can schedule again.
Yes. While your subscription is active, unused credits stay in your wallet and carry over from one cycle to the next. If you cancel, let us know and we will refund your remaining credits. Contact us via support chat. See our Storrito Refund Policy for further details.
If you're on an older monthly or yearly top-up, a warning appears when that top-up is set lower than your ongoing daily usage rate, even when today's balance is still healthy. It's an early heads-up that your balance won't last until the next top-up date.
The remedy is right below the warning: turn on Auto Top-Up, or add credits directly.
Disconnecting your Instagram account stops the $0.50 daily connection fee for that account, so your credits simply last longer. With pay-as-you-go there is nothing else to adjust — you just buy credits less often. If you use Auto Top-Up, it also fires less often; you can lower its amount on the Subscription page if you like. On an older monthly or yearly top-up the recurring amount stays the same until you switch to pay-as-you-go or cancel, so unused credits build up — they stay usable or can be refunded via our support chat.
The $0.10 daily storage flat-fee covers hosting costs for all your uploaded media, which is required for scheduling and posting. There's no way to post through Storrito without your assets being stored, which is why this fee is our only non-negotiable.
Prices shown exclude tax. VAT or sales tax is added at checkout by Paddle, our payment provider, based on your country.
If you're buying as a business, add your VAT number at the checkout for more comprehensive invoicing. See How To Add VAT Info At The Checkout for more information. If it needs correcting on an existing subscription or invoice, contact us via support chat and we'll help you to sort it out with Paddle.
With pay-as-you-go there is no billing date: you're charged when you add credits, or when Auto Top-Up fires. Only the older monthly and yearly top-ups have a fixed date, shown at the top of the Subscription page; their cycles run for 31 days from the subscription date rather than following calendar months. See Your Next Billing Date for further information.
The Add credits field on the Subscription page suggests an amount that covers roughly one month of your current setup. As a rule of thumb, $20 covers one Instagram connection, storage, and some headroom for AI features for a month.
It's also worth keeping an eye out for special deals before you subscribe, since they can make the credits go further. Registered non-profits get 20% off, and we run occasional offers on top of standard rates.
If you're not sure whether an offer applies to you, ask us in support chat before you pick your amount and we'll tell you what's currently available.
