How To Schedule Instagram Stories With Claude And The Storrito MCP

The Storrito MCP lets you schedule Instagram Stories by chatting with Claude. You connect Claude to your Storrito account once, then describe what you want to post in plain language. Claude uploads the image, adds the stickers, schedules the Story and reports back with a preview link.

What you need

  • A Claude account on a plan with custom connectors. At the time of writing these are the paid plans Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise.
  • A Storrito login. Every team member connects Claude with their own login, and Claude then acts with the permissions of that user.
  • A browser for the setup on claude.ai. The connector is stored in your Claude account, so the Claude desktop and mobile apps can use it afterwards as well.

How to connect Claude to Storrito

Step 1: In Storrito, click Storrito MCP in the sidebar and copy the MCP URL shown at the top of the page. The URL belongs to your organization.

Step 2: In claude.ai, open the settings via your name in the bottom left corner, then choose Connectors in the Customize section. Click Add and choose Add custom connector.

Step 3: Enter Storrito as the name and paste the MCP URL into the server URL field. Nothing else is needed, no API key and no client ID. Click Continue.

Step 4: Claude opens a Storrito sign-in window. Sign in with your Storrito login and confirm with Allow. Claude never sees your password; it receives a token that you can revoke at any time by removing the connector.

Step 5: Back in the connectors list, a check mark next to Storrito means the connection works. If Claude shows Reconnect instead, click it and sign in again.

Step 6: Connectors are switched on per chat. Open a new chat, check the tools menu of the message field and make sure the Storrito switch is on. Before Claude changes anything in Storrito, it asks for your permission. Allow once confirms a single action, Allow always confirms all further uses of that tool in the chat.

Scheduling a Story from the chat

Attach the image or video to your message and say what you want. For example:

Schedule this photo as an Instagram Story for tomorrow at 9:00 and add a link sticker to storrito.com.

Claude uploads the file, builds the Story, schedules it and replies with a preview link. The Story also appears on your Schedule page and in your gallery, where you can open it in the editor like any other Story. Name your time zone in the message if your Claude profile doesn't already have it, so that 9:00 means 9:00 where you are.

Stickers are added by Claude, not drawn into your image. A link that is only part of the artwork isn't tappable on Instagram, so ask for a link sticker and give Claude the URL. Hashtag, mention, location, poll, question, quiz, countdown and emoji slider stickers work the same way.

Example: new arrivals for an online shop

Several Stories in one go work the same way. Attach the product photos and list what goes on each:

Our new autumn collection goes live on Friday. Schedule one Story per photo on Friday from 10:00, two minutes apart. Each gets a link sticker "Shop now" to its product page and the hashtag sticker #autumncollection. Knit sweater: https://shop.example.com/knit-sweater Wool scarf: https://shop.example.com/wool-scarf Leather boots: https://shop.example.com/leather-boots

Claude matches the photos to the links by what it sees in them, schedules three Stories at 10:00, 10:02 and 10:04, and replies with a preview link for each. If a photo and a link don't match, say so and Claude reschedules that one.

Example: an agency posting for several clients

If you post the same kind of Story every week, put the standing rules into the instructions of a Claude Project, so you don't repeat them in every chat. An agency with two clients could use instructions like these:

You schedule Instagram Stories through the Storrito tools. Our clients are the Instagram accounts connected to Storrito. Every week I paste a content sheet with the columns client, date, time, caption and link. Schedule one Story per row on that client's account, with the caption as text at the top of the Story and a link sticker at the bottom. Times are Central European Time. Show me the plan as a table and wait for my OK before scheduling.

Then start a chat in that Project, attach the images in the order of the sheet and paste the rows:

| Client | Date | Time | Caption | Link | | @bakery.example | 2026-10-12 | 09:00 | Fresh sourdough every Monday | https://bakery.example.com | | @gym.example | 2026-10-13 | 18:00 | New evening classes | https://gym.example.com/classes |

Claude shows the plan, you say "go", and Claude schedules each Story on the right account. To change your mind later, write "Cancel the bakery Story on Monday" in the same chat. Claude only knows about the Stories it scheduled in that chat, so keep one chat per batch.

What Claude can do with Storrito

  • Schedule Instagram Stories with stickers, check their status and cancel them
  • Schedule TikTok posts, check their status and cancel them
  • Upload images and videos from the chat
  • List your connected Instagram and TikTok accounts and create a link to connect a new one

Instagram Reels are available through the Storrito API, not yet through the MCP. Stories scheduled through Claude are billed like Stories you schedule in the app.

If something doesn't work

  • No sign-in window opens after Continue: your browser blocked the popup. Allow popups for claude.ai, then click Connect next to Storrito in the connectors list.
  • The sign-in ends with an error about the organization: you signed in with a user of another Storrito organization. Use the URL from your Storrito MCP page together with a login of that organization. If you only have one Storrito account and still see this, contact support and we'll check the link.
  • Claude answers without using Storrito: check that the Storrito switch in the tools menu of the chat is on, and mention Storrito in your message.
  • Claude says it could not use a tool: answer its permission question with Allow once or Allow always.

Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients that don't open a sign-in window use an API credential instead. The command for Claude Code is shown on the Storrito MCP page in the app. For the API itself, see Storrito API: Frequently Asked Questions.
