How To Schedule LinkedIn Posts

You can connect your LinkedIn profile and the company pages you manage to Storrito, and schedule LinkedIn posts with a video or an image, from the same page and the same piece of media as your Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Threads content.

Connect your LinkedIn profile or company page

Step 1: Go to Social Accounts in the left menu and click Connect for LinkedIn. You can also click Connect account in the account list on the scheduling page and pick the LinkedIn card.

Step 2: Log in to LinkedIn and allow Storrito to post for you. Keep all permissions enabled, otherwise Storrito can't publish.

Step 3: Back in Storrito, choose where Storrito should post. LinkedIn shares your personal profile and every company page you're an admin of. All of them are ticked by default, so untick the ones you don't need and click Connect. If LinkedIn only shares your personal profile, Storrito connects it right away and skips this step.

Your profile and pages then show on the Social Accounts page. Click Remove next to one to disconnect it from Storrito.

To post on a company page, you need to be an admin of that page on LinkedIn.

What LinkedIn accepts

A LinkedIn post from Storrito carries one video or one image and always needs a caption:

  • Videos can be up to 60 seconds long. Storrito cuts every video to one minute, so any video you post from Storrito fits.
  • Captions are required and can be up to 3,000 characters. A longer caption is shortened for LinkedIn and ends with "…", while other platforms you post to at the same time still get the full text.

If your design is still being prepared when you open the scheduling page, you can still schedule it. Storrito posts it as soon as the video or image is ready.

Schedule a LinkedIn post

Step 1: Get your media into Storrito — Upload on the Schedule page, or create it in the editor.

Step 2: Open the scheduling page. From the editor, click Share then Schedule story. From the Gallery, click your media and choose Social schedule.

Step 3: Under Social accounts, click Select social accounts... and tick your profile or page under LinkedIn.

Step 4: Fill in Caption / description. This becomes the text of your LinkedIn post. The same field feeds the captions and descriptions of the other platforms, so if you're posting to several platforms at once, you're writing one text for all of them. Without a caption, the scheduling page shows LinkedIn: Add a caption. and the button stays disabled.

Step 5: Choose who can see the post under LinkedIn options → Visibility:

  • Public — anyone on and off LinkedIn. This is the default.
  • Connections only — only your connections. This is meant for personal profiles; LinkedIn may reject it for a company page.

Step 6: Set Date & time and click the button below it. The field arrives prefilled with the current date and time, and the button reads Post now until you change it. Once you pick a different date it becomes Schedule to selected destination(s).

Tracking the post

Scheduling activity shows each LinkedIn post moving through Scheduled → In progress → Live. A Cancel link is available while the post is still scheduled. On the Schedule page it appears as a LinkedIn post card, with Edit, Re-schedule, and Cancel on hover.

If your profile or page shows as disconnected

LinkedIn can revoke Storrito's access, for example after you change your password, remove Storrito from your LinkedIn settings, or lose your admin role on a page. Storrito notices this when a post fails: the post shows as Failed in the Scheduling activity with the note that the profile or page is disconnected, and it is marked Disconnected on the Social Accounts page. Click Reconnect next to it and log in again, then schedule the failed post once more. A failed post is not retried on its own.

What it costs

Each post that Storrito publishes on LinkedIn costs $0.08, the same as a Facebook Reel or Story or a Threads post. You are only charged for a post that was published. See How Storrito Credits And Pricing Work for all rates.

Like everything else Storrito schedules, a LinkedIn post only publishes if your credit balance is positive when it's due. See How Scheduling Works In Storrito for the rules that apply to every platform.
