Reels Remix lets users respond and react to other Reels. They can recreate other’s Reels or complete them to their likings. When a Reel is remixed, both videos are shown side by side.

In the end, both videos will be played at the same time. Like this, you can create reaction videos to other’s Reels, duets, or simulate dialogs.

How to create a Reels Remix on Instagram

1. Find a Reel that you would like to remix.
2. Tap on the three dots on the right-hand side.
3. Select “Remix This Reel”.
4. Now you can see the original Reel on the left side and record your remix that will appear on the right side.

After you recorded your remix video, you have a lot of options to edit your Reels Remix.

There are a lot of possibilities to personalize your Remix. While recording there is the possibility to adjust the speed of your Remix, so you can react in slow motion or with a time-lapse.

Like you are used to with Instagram Stories, you can add a lot of well-known features. To find these features tap on “Preview”. In the menu bar at the top of your screen, you can choose from six different possibilities.
